| Sean HenryはワシントンD.C.の郊外にあるメリーランド州で育ちました。
彼の祖父母は若い頃、インドや韓国で英語と農業技術を教えていました。
彼らの海外でのアドベンチャーの話を聞いてショーン少年は旅をすることに憧れ、教育に対する尊敬と興味を持つようになりました。
Sean Henry grew up in the
Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. His grandparents had been
teachers in their younger days, teaching English and farming
techniques in developing countries such as India and Korea.
Hearing stories of his family's adventures abroad, Sean acquired
a desire to travel and a respect for education from childhood.

１０代の頃、ショーンは格闘技をフィットネスと護身のために学び始めました。同時に日本の文化と歴史に興味を持ち始めました。
As a teenager, Sean began
practicing the Martial Arts for fitness and self-defense.
At that time he also developed an interest in Japan's culture
and history.

慶応大学への一年間の留学を含め、大学で日本語と歴史を勉強したあと、ショーンの初めの教える仕事が始まりました。埼玉県の公立中学校で３年間英語を教えました。
空手や合気道といった格闘技の練習も続けました。そしてその頃、近くにある町で英語を教えていたオーストラリア人のブレットと言う友人と出会いました。
After studying the Japanese
language and history at University including a year as an
exchange student at Keio University, Sean got his first
teaching job. He spent 3 years in Saitama as an assistant
English teacher in City junior high schools. He continued
practicing martial arts such as Karate and Aikido. At that
time, he met an Australian English teacher in a nearby town
who became his lifelong friend , Brett.

その後、ハワイに２年間行きました。
ハワイで家庭教師とJTBの通訳とツアーコーディネーターを勤めました。
ハワイでサーフィンをしながら働く彼の夢はかないましたが、それと同時にやはり教育の道で生きて生きたいという想いを抱き、もう一度日本に戻りました。
Sean then spent two years following his dream to surf in Hawaii
while teaching English as a private tutor and working as a
translator and tour coordinator for JTB, Living in Hawaii
was a dream come true but Sean felt the most job satisfaction
in Education. He then returned to Japan to teach again, full
time.

日本に戻ったショーンは東京税関・千葉県警などの公官庁や公立の中学校・千葉商業高校・検見川高校・小金高校などの学校の授業、そしてマクドナルド・アップルコンピューターなどの企業研修にいたるまで様々なレッスンを行い、経験を培いました。
He chose to live in Chiba
because of exciting teaching oppurtunities with Narita airport,
Tokyo customes, Chiba police and local public schools such
as Chiba Commerse, Kemigawa, and Kogane High Schools. Living
near Tokyo allowed Sean to commute to big company English
lessons as well, for such famous clients as McDonald's corporation
and Apple Computers.

経験を積むごとに自信もつきました。
千葉で新しい日本人の友達、KAZUにも出会いました。
ショーンはKAZUから新しいもうひとつの夢を実現するためのモチベーションとサポートをもらいました。
２００６年、ショーンは長年の経験から作り上げた独自の英語教育システムを完成させました。
KAZUとブレットと一緒に今までにない、あたらしい効果的なシステムの英会話スクールが千葉に完成しました。
With all this teaching
experience came confidence and ideas for even better teaching
systems. In Chiba he met a new friend Kazuto who gave him
the motivation and support to actualize his next dream.
In 2006 Sean felt he had the skills to implement his own
language teaching method. With his good friends Kazu and
Brett, together they opened the most innovative and effective
English language school in Chiba.
